Tinordi Signs One Year Deal With Habs
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jarred Tinordi has signed a one year, two-way deal with the club.
The 23 year old was given a qualifying offer from GM Marc Bergevin on June 24th, which would have expired today at 5pm EST. He is also eligible for waivers, which means that the Habs will have to figure out of the nine players qualified to play in the NHL next season, who will be staying.
During the 2014-15 regular season, Tinordi travelled back and fourth between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Habs. In his 13 games with the club, he picked up two assists, while grabbing six assists and one goal with the Bulldogs.
Alex Galchenyuk, who is a restricted free agent, is the only player left that still raises a huge question mark when it comes to staying with the Habs.
