Barret Jackman Leaves Game with Shoulder Injury
Nashville Predators defenseman Barret Jackman exited Saturday evening’s game versus the Los Angeles Kings at 15:27 of the second period after being hit awkwardly into the boards by Michael Mersch.
Jackman’s left shoulder hit the boards first, and the 34-year-old was slow to get up. Once Jackman got to his feet, he gently skated to the locker room holding his left arm.

Jackman has 861 NHL games under his belt, more than anyone on Nashville’s defense. In 58 games this season, he has one goal and four assists.
Jackman’s durability is one of the reasons the Predators signed him as an unrestricted free agent in July. He has only missed one game this season with an upper-body injury and has missed just nine games since the 2011-12 season.
