Bruins Max Talbot Signs With Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of KHL
It’s been rumored for about a week, but today it was made official. Max Talbot has signed with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The team announced on it’s website (translated from Russian) that they had signed a one-year contract with the former Boston Bruin. Talbot confirmed the signing on his own Twitter feed earlier:

Talbot, 32, split the 2015-16 season between the NHL Bruins in Boston and the AHL ones in Providence, scoring seven points in 38 NHL games, and 21 points in 26 AHL game.
He has appeared in over 700 games throughout a 10-year NHL career, breaking the double-digit goal total four times, with a career high tally of 19 in 2011-12.
Talbot won a Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009, and is best known for scoring both goals in a 2-1 win in the deciding game 7 against the Detroit Red Wings.
