Arizona Coyotes Sign Brad Richardson
The Arizona Coyotes have signed Brad Richardson to a three-year deal, worth $6.25 million.
Brad Richardson goes to Arizona. 6.25 over 3 Years. #SigningSeason

Richardson scored eight goals and 21 points for the Canucks last season, and was an effective penalty killer and defensive forward on the team’s third line when healthy. He underwent surgery in May for an ankle injury that limited him to just 45 games.
The 30-year-old, who was a bargain last year at $1.15 Million, provides the Coyotes with solid depth up front, as long as he makes a full recovery and can return to the form he showed in Vancouver. His addition gives the Coyotes a natural and slightly younger replacement for David Moss, as well as leadership for a rebuilding Arizona roster, after winning the Stanley Cup with Los Angeles in 2012.
It’s the third deal of the day for Arizona, who also re-signed defenceman Zbynek Michalek to a two-year deal, and inked goaltender Anders Lindback to a one-year contract.
