Audette Signs Three Year Contract With Habs
Daniel Audette has agreed to a three year, entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens via TVA Sports.
The 19 year old forward led the Sherbrooke Phoenix of the QMJHL in points during his 60 regular season games in 2014-15 (22-44-73). He grabbed 14 of his goals on the powerplay, as well as serving 64 penalty minutes and totaled 196 shots on goal. Audette added six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in six playoff games.
Audette was was selected in the fifth round, 147th overall by the Habs at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He also took part in his second development camp with the Canadiens earlier this year.
