Being Good Enough

Rebuilding on the fly and remaining competitive is a daunting task and it puzzles me that anyone can complain about making the playoffs. It is beyond my comprehension. No. Really.

Isn't that the goal or rather the first step? I'm have no delusions about a deep run, but getting in after playing 82 games is an accomplishment. And it sure is better than the alternative. At the very least it's four more games. Playoff games. The most intense, gratifying Hockey there is to watch.

I have to wonder how fans would react if the Wings missed the mark. Maybe we should poll fans of the Oilers, Buffalo, Jets............ You know, just to get a feel for what it's like to miss the post season.

I already know how awful that feels and I want no part of that feeling ever again. I know there are at least 19 other Wing's Fans that feel the same.

It's never has never been aboot the " streak". It's aboot being good enough to get there, and that is no easy task.

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!
