Nitty Gritty

Coming off another win, the Wings face off early today against a Flyers team that we have not won against, in their building, since the 1997 SCF.

So there's that. Odds are not really in favor of the Wings today, but there is one thing that I am personally looking forward to, besides hopefully breaking the losing in Philly streak. Lots of camera time focused on Gritty.

Say what you will, but for reasons I cannot explain, I like that mascot. Bizarre, scary to some.

Gritty. The Beast of the East.

With that in mind, the Wings need to show some grit of their own, and break this streak.
