Greg Pateryn to Miss 8 Weeks with Ankle Injury
The Canadiens have announced that defenseman Greg Pateryn will miss approximately 8 weeks with a fractured ankle.
Medical update – Greg Pateryn: fractured ankle suffered on December 6 in St. Louis – his recovery is expected to be 8 weeks.

Pateryn was injured against St. Louis while blocking a shot. He left the game and did not return.
In 19 games with the Habs this season, Pateryn has recorded five points.
Pateryn joins forwards Alex Galchenyuk and David Desharnais on the injured list.
