In the AHL, Matt Puempel, Brian Lashoff, Evgeni Svechnikov and Matthew Ford scored goals, Ben Street and Eric Tangradi had 2 assists and Jared Coreau stopped 16 of 17 shots as the Grand Rapids Griffins won 4-1 over the Rockford IceHogs.
