Petit retour dans le temps: Il y a 24 ans, le 21 mars 1991.
Un jeune gardien du nom de Ron Tugnutt, alors âgé de 23 ans, est d’office devant la cage des Nordiques de Québec lors d’un affrontement face aux Bruins de Boston dans l’intimidant Boston Garden. Encore une saison difficile pour les représentants de Québec pendant laquelle ils n’enregistreront au final que 16 victoires en 80 matchs, terminant derniers au classement pour une 3e saison de suite. Devant eux, des Bruins dominants, en tête de la conférence Prince de Galles. Un match en apparence sans histoire à prévoir donc, outre une possible domination de l'équipe à domicile.
