Habs prospect Artturi Lehkonen score a hat-trick
Watch Habs 2013 2nd round pick Arturri Lehkonen score a hat-trick for Swedish League powerhouse Frolunda in their second round playoff series Sunday night.
He is one prospect that GM Marc Bergevin refused to give up at the trade deadline in order to acquire a top-six forward as many fans wanted. His value is very similar to that of former Canadiens prospect and Frolunda teammate Sebastian Collberg, who was traded for Thomas Vanek last season.
Lehkonen is now second on his team in playoff scoring which is very impressive for a 19-year-old, and represented Finland twice at the World Junior Hockey Championships, captaining them this year.
You can expect him to make an impact with the Canadiens in approximately two to three years from now, as a secondary scoring forward who excels with his two-way play.
